A Computer laboratory and a library complex have been inaugurated for the  Star of the Sea Roman Catholic Basic School in Dansoman, Accra. The school’s Parent Teacher Association (PTA) initiated the project which was estimated at GH¢72, 559.30  four years ago.

  The awards will see companies recognized in six awards categories – Overall Best Industrial Company of the Year, Best Corporate Social Responsibility, Environmental Project Company of the Year, and Fastest Growing Company.

     The rest are Young Enterprise Company –Innovation and Entrepreneurship; and Best Practices in Sustainable Manufacturing Company.
     There would also be 20 sector award categories of AGI, including Agri-Business; Automotive and Transport; Chemicals; Electricals and Electronics; Energy; Food and Beverages; Financial Services; Garments, Textiles and Leather; Hospitality and Tourism; and Information and Communication and Technology.

 BarCamp Tema 2013 is a free networking forum bringing people together for a day of discussion, demos and dialogue on Tema, Ghana and beyond. It takes place on August 10, 2013 at the Rotary Centre (Club House) in Tema. The theme is “Building new industries for our communities”. This Barcamp will be the 21st organized by the GhanaThink Foundation as it builds a network of young change makers, doers and entrepreneurs in Ghana. It’s being organized in conjunction with the Rotaract Club of Tema.
